Even with some of the usual Wreck crew supporting the new AO at NLB we had a solid showing of 28. A VQ for Grease Monkey today so expectations for distance running were low. 5:30 came and we were off.
Mosey to the football parking lot for a quick warmup:
- 12 Side Straddle Hops
- 12 Imperial Walkers
- 12 Low Slow Squats
- 12 Mountain Climbers
- 12 LBCs
More Crabs and Bears
Quick mosey to the field as the PAX lined up on the sideline and we kicked it off with some 11s. Big Boy Situps to start (1), run to the second set of hash marks and follow with Merkins (10). Crabwalk back to the sideline – rotated Crabwalks and Bear Crawls for each return to the sideline. Seemed like a fair amount of heavy breathing in the gloom so assumed that was indication the VQ was off to a good start. By the time the Q finished a small group led by Aflac were doing some Mary. A couple rounds and planking while waiting on the 6. Then a short mosey to the stadium wall.
3-6-9, Feeling Fine
Trio of Burpees, Shoulder Presses and Dips in the following reps:
- 3-6-9
- 6-9-12
- 9-12-15
- 6-9-12
- 3-6-9
Mosey back to the flag. Aflac took the lead, and just like Supertramp – he took the long way home. I fell back with the 6 to make sure we didn’t have another Toothpick & Caboose incident. Circled up at the flag for Mary until time ran out.
We welcomed one FNG, David, now known as Hooch.
