It was a bit chilly (42 degrees), but since this was my VQ, we had 9 faithful show up in the gloom. I knew we needed to work hard to stay warm, so I had a good plan.
Warmup:
- Mosey around the parking lot
- 15 SSH
- 15 Cotton Pickers
- 15 Windmills
- 15 Imperial Walkers
The Thang:
Mosey toward the school and stop at the wall near the streetlight. Everyone grabbed some wall and we did 11’s with Dips and Derkins with air chair for the 6. After some grunting, I heard that the PAX were finally warmed up. Good. Next we moseyed to the lightposts by the school, where we did some Route 66. Start at the first lightpole with 1 burpee, then run to the next light pole and do 2 burpees, until the 11th light pole, then you’ve done 66! Plank for the 6. Next, mosey to the bottom of the hill and wait for security to open the gate at the top and look like we are supposed to be there. YHC was planning to do Blackjack here, but looking at the time, cut it by 10, and decided to do 11’s. American Hammer at the bottom, run to the top and do LBC’s. Plank for the six. Indian run back to the end of the lightpoles and mosey to the flag in time for exactly 6 MOM. Started to go around the circle with Flutterkicks, Reverse LBC’s, and Cockroaches, but after BRD led the Worst Merkins Ever we were done.
COT:
- Prayers for Sneakers interview today and Sunshine’s certification exam on Monday
Coffeeteria and 3rd F:
- 8 stayed around for great discussion of Chapter 3 of the book. I really enjoyed it and looking forward to the rest with this great group.
Thanks for not laughing too much during my VQ. I enjoyed it, and looking forward to many more!
Awesome VQ Saint2O. Been waiting for this one! Great looking plan with plenty of pain. Well done! Plunger from F3 Winston-Salem
