When an injured Bronco discovered that he had 2 Q’s within the same week (looking at you Double-D), YHC was more than happy to pinch-hit on a chilly Friday and lead 16 PAX on a great start to a beautiful weekend. Full disclaimers were made that this would be a non-mosey engagement due to doctors orders, so hopes were up that this would be an easy one.
Warm-Up
After a quick welcome to an FNG and appropriate disclaimers, we headed out for a productive (yet slow) mosey consisting of:
- 30 Imperial Walkers
- 30 Toy Soldiers
- 30 Side-Lunges (flap-jack)
The Thang
Conveniently, our mobile warm-up placed us at ground zero for today’s beat down. YHC provided fair warning to the PAX to team up as things were about to get difficult.
- 100 Pull-ups
- 250 Merkins
- 350 Squats
Plenty of groans from the PAX as we split the workload into 10 rounds with early finishers doing a few extra for good measure while waiting for the six. Various unassisted PU performances ranging from a few to all, with honest work all-around. As they say, payback is a you-know-what, and YHC sees some pain in his future courtesy of a run with Thumper (just as soon as this toe is fully healed).
A few lightning rounds of Merkins/Squats waiting on the six, then onward to 3 rounds of the following:
- 20 Step-Ups (10 each leg)
- 15 Dips
- 15 Incline Merkins
With time winding down, PAX did a productive slow-mosey back to the flag consisting of:
- OYO Side-Lunges (flap-jack at foul pole)
- Imperial Walkers to the flag
Finish up with some quick Mary consisting of Flutter-Kicks and Freddy Mercury’s, courtesy of VSlim and Thumper.
COT
- Hearty welcome to FNG Trey Anner who from this point forward shall be known as Bob the Builder.
- Trail run tomorrow 0730 from Oxbo Trail parking lot. Killing YHC that he cannot join this until Thanksgiving (at the earliest).
AFLAC out.
