A chilly start to the day for 9 brave PAX. YHC was asked to “keep us moving”, so I obliged. Big day for the runners in the group.
Here’s what happened:
Moseyed over to the Hurricane lot for some SSHs, Squats, and Mountain climbers. All IC.
Moseyed to the FirePit for some Jump Ups, Irkins, and Dips.
- Round 1- 1 Jump Up, 2 Irkins, and Dips
- Round 2- 2, 4, 6
- Round 3- 4, 8, 12
- Round 4- 8, 16, 24
Mosey to the trail around the lake, paired off with one single (YHC) who started as the runner.
4 workout stations were set up. Each group were assigned to a station. You would continue to do the exercise in the station until the runner released you to the next station, making you the runner, then you would release the next group and take over their exercise, and around and around we went.
Disclaimer: this was easier to do than explain.
Station one by the bridge- Crunchy Frogs
Station two by the dock- 9 second Squats– 3 seconds on the way down, hold for three, and then three on the way back up
Station three was halfway on the long straightaway (just out of the reach of the sprinklers)- 3 LBCs, 6 Tomahawk chops, and 3 Reverse LBCs
Station 4 by the Outdoor Chapel- Plyomerkins. Merkin up and try to come off the ground a little bit
After everyone had a turn at each station we collected the group for a caterpillar run. Single file line and slow mosey from the PAX. The guy in the front would do a lap around the lake and try to catch up to the group. Once he got back the next guy in the front would take off. We had to go two by two for time. While the guy was running we moseyed back and forth, we lunge walked, we bear crawled, and we crab walked. YHC kept them moving.
Time was running short so we moseyed back to the flag!

Coffeeteria: YHC had to giddyup to Buckhead, but it looks like it was well attended.
Glad to have Piggie back in the mix…would love to see some others back too.
