Flag Management 101

AO: The Zoo

When: 05/12/2018

QIC: Swiper

PAX (): Swiper, Snowden, Fudd, Beans

A great morning at the Zoo with temps starting to climb towards typical summer status.  Many schedule conflicts with the final week of youth baseball and soccer season, but 4 PAX answered the call and came on out.  We also received a drop by from the Body to dispense our flag with a promise from YHC to remember it on the way out.  More to come on that later, but here we go…

Mosey down the sidewalk to the open area between the baseball and football fields for warm-up’s, all IC:

Headed up to the upper soccer fields for some “Escalating Burpicides”:

Starting at the goal line, suicide sprints to the 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 yard lines with alternating exercises and 5 burpees every time you return to the goal line.

10 = Mercans

20 = Squats

30 = Overhead claps

40 = lunges

50 = LBC’s

Rinse and repeat back down the escalator.

Next, off to the other side of the field parking lot hill for some 11’s:

Monkey Humpers at the bottom and Plank Jacks at the top

Mosey down to the football field in search of some shade for Captain Thor’s:

1:4 ratio of big boy sit-up’s and American Hammer’s all the way up to 10:40

Next, off to the benches for some 12-10-8’s

  • great to have Beans and Fudd join us from the Firehouse ( solid posts from both of these guys over the last few weeks)
  • Cheers to Snowden who had to take off before we finished for a work event, where there were 4 FNG’s that he has angled some SC’s out of for next week.
  • Upcoming Murph event on labor day in Alpharetta, GA
  • YHC understands that he has earned the Flag of shame for an ultimate show of flag mis-management.  Body took all necessary steps to ensure the flag was present- he dropped it off, asked for confirmation that someone would be responsible for it…all boxes checked and I made sure to remember…as soon as I pulled into my driveway without it!  Fortunately, Law Dawg chimed in and volunteered that the Kodiak team had developed a suitable response for such action, so I will humbly apologize and await due punishment as advised from our brothers to the West!
