At 5:28 YHC thought he was going to be running alone on a uncommonly warm, wet Monday morning. Then a set of headlights entered the parking lot, and then another. At 5:29:30 we had three PAX and then another set of headlights turned in and we were four and it was time to roll.
We descended to the creek with some trepidation after all the recent rain. The creek was high but was contained within it’s banks as we turned south to avoid what was sure to be standing water on the greenway north of Highway 9. But we found plenty of small puddles on the boardwalk headed south. We were able to transit under GA 400 without standing water and made the bridge and turned around to return.
It is always good to run with this crew that is always pushing to get stronger and faster. With a “fellowship friendly” pace we were able to have a good conversation as we traveled the creek.
