Wait, I’m Q’ing?

Preamble:

Much appreciated, and needed, reminder from Townie earlier this week that I was on Q. Just enough time to put something together to keep everyone moving and entertained. Or just moving.

Warm-O-Rama:

Lap around parking lot to SSHs, copperhead squats, weed pickers, arm circles and Covids.

The Thang:

Time for tabata – 6 rounds of 6 sets (20 seconds work/10 rest)

Lunges
Squats
Big Boys
American hammers
Mercans
Overhead claps

Between each round we did a little cardio, with audience suggestions. Stu took us to the dam for the final couple of rounds.

Following tabata, and in honor of field days taking place at schools, Pax competed in a coupon-rifle carry relay while other Pax performed various exercises. Team 1 achieved victory in a history-making performance, all the more impressive since the first two competitors didn’t realized that a relay actually involved running.

Attended a funeral this week for a family friend. Grateful that the family received such strong support at an awful time. Reinforced the importance of community – both for good times as well as for challenging, difficult ones.
