Six Bridges Re-Q (From F3 Gwinnett)

AO: Boneyard

When: 04/03/2023

QIC: Irene

PAX (8): Angus, Dinghy, Pigtails, Speedo, Stroller, Zohan, Jocko

Preamble:

I initially ran this BD over at the Track AO in Duluth for F3 Gwinnett. I grew up and Duluth and now live in Alpharetta, so I’ve been to most of the bridges in the pic and they seemed like a good enough theme for a beatdown spanning the two regions. With a few changes to the length of the runs and moving some Single Counts to Alpha Counts, the beatdown is largely unchanged.

Warm-O-Rama:

We had 7 Pax ready to go promptly at 5:30. Stroller did the pre-run with YHC, but veered off to grab more miles in the gloom. He rejoined for CoT. We moseyed over to the tunnel near the turtle pond for SSH, Weedpickers, Imperial Walkers, Toy Soldiers, Arm Circles, COVIDs, and Monkey Arms. We continued our mosey and moved on to the lacrosse field where a board of pain awaited.

With the longer runs and some changes from SCs to Alphas, we finished right on time. A mosey to the shovel flag, 20 LBCs, and 20 Gas Pumpers put us right on time.

COT:

Pax circled up and shared some news:

  • Good Friday Cross Ruck, Friday April 7th starting at 5 pm at Alpharetta First Methodist Church.

Qs are filled, but we’re looking for Food and Coffee Qs. Keep spreading the word.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

Thank you to all for coming out. I really enjoy the positive feedback on my BDs and it keeps pushing me to find new and interesting ways to test the pax. As always, it is an honor to lead.
