Tour de Alpharetta

Preamble:

YHC is back from paradise and was looking forward to a Tour de Alpharetta.  With a great turnout this morning, PAX were ready to go and showed out.

Warm-O-Rama:

Not our thing.

The Thang:

1. Modified DORA at the fountain – 100 Derkins, 100 Step ups, 200 Dips
2. Mosey over to the Alpharetta green. Two rounds of Burpee-Broad Jumps out/Bernie Sanders back/Bear Crawl Out/Bernie back.
3. Happy Jack Laps – Paired up and one Pax ran around the Gazebo at Brooke St Park, other Pax performed AMRAP Happy Jacks (5 SSH, 2 Squat Jumps).  30 total reps per group.  Rinse and Repeat with Modified Captain Thor.
4. Mosey back to the track,  followed by Jack Webbs, with an run up and down the stadium steps between each rep.

Had just enough time left at the end for a few rounds of Mary.

COT:

Make sure you have a means of emergency contact, be that Road ID, putting it your Slack “Nickname”, Apple watch, or other.  And make sure the other Pax know where to find it.  Also, after a few weeks of searching, the only AED nearby is likely in the school.  Turbine agreed to be our fall guy if we need to break in and use it.

Devito 6th year Anniversary Q next week, don’t miss it.  Also the Ha-ha Week Challenge, but that doesn’t apply to Academians on Tuesday.
