Field of Do Not Enter

Preamble:

As we were moseying by the field on Tuesday No-See-Um and I discussed getting a beatdown back on the field as it appeared to be done. So I grabbed Thursday’s Q and we came up with a split plan to do all our old favorites on the field.

3 pre ruck and 4 prerunners.

Warm-O-Rama:

We mosey to the field of dreams to find our plans were immediately foiled as it was locked up tight with Do Not Enter signs all around. While a ribbon cutting was planned there were no bolt cutters to allow us access. With no backup planned we tested our ability to adjust quickly and continue our mosey to the flag for:

No-See-Um leades us in SSH, IW, WeedPickers, Arm Circles, Covids, Mercans, and Plank Jacks

The Thang:

Mosey to the rock pile to gather rocks to throw at the field owners in defiance of their lockout.

No, that’s not the right thing. Let’s do a Dora instead.

One partner runs around the island, while we count off 100 Presses, 150 Curls, 200 Rows.

No-See-Um takes it over

Round of 7s with Burpees at one end, Bonnie Blair at the other while overhead carry in between.

lumbergh is back with 4 corners escalator (as predicted by Miller Time). 10 Burpees, 20 LBCs, 30 Squats and 40 Dips. Bear Crawl the short ends of the lot including all the way down to the pavilion per excellent Fanny Pack suggestion.

Back to the flag for some mary to time.

COT:

Negotiations will continue and we hope to revisit our field by opening day. We will not be stopped from army crawling on those awful pellets and refuse to cave to owner’s demands that the field can only be used for baseball.
