Preamble:
Get lit? Yea I’ve used this phrase before…but not sure anyone else has. Here’s the unofficial definition for reference:
“The act of which a person is excited, or hype due to an upcoming event.” In addition to a person being turnt, being “lit” can also describe an exciting event, a cool person, or general awesomeness.
Anyway, it’s cinder day! And there was a method to the BB title…
Warm-O-Rama:
Cinder ruck to the trailhead lights for 10 x SSH, 10 x mountain climbers, 10 x slow merkins.
The Thang:
Staring with the first light – 15 curls, second light – 15 skull crushers. Alternate this up to the rec building which turned out to be roughly 10 sets.
At the rec building, located AED inside the door on the left. Building was unlocked and AED accessible!
At the rec building, run down, 20 big boys at the bottom, run up the hill for 20 single leg dead lifts at the top. 5 rounds of this.
Continue to the next light and alternate 15 x squats and 15 x overhead press.
Overhead carry to the playground for 10 x picnic table shrugs and 20 x JLo’s, 2 rounds.
Cinder ruck to the flag for time. Ended up with ~1.4 miles of cinder carry today!
