Preamble:

76 years ago this morning, my mother’s first cousin, Lloyd Palmer, died on the beach at Normandy along with thousands of others who gave their life to rid the world of fascism, racism and white nationalism espoused by Hitler and the Nazis.  13 Brave Souls came out to endure a “simulation” Seles beatdown of that day and to remember those who gave their life to fight these evils that we’re still battling today.

COT:

Remember Box Checker’s father-in-law and family in your prayers.

Had two FNGs to name (thanks Pit Boss and Leon for inviting them!), so welcome to Peanuts and Space Cadet!

Some discussion on moving Tuesday/Thursday back to 5:30 am.  No consensus but slight majority seems keen to go back to the earlier time; however, Green Bean just changed the official time on the website to 6 am so we’ll wait at least another week (or maybe to July 1) then make a final call.

Salt Lick took us out in stellar fashion.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

Great work by the PAX on a very humid day, and a strong performance from our FNGs, Peanuts and Space Cadet (two youngsters who continue to bring the average age of the Shadow PAX down, down, down!)
