YHC promised great fun in the gloom, and burpee’s are the least fun I could think of – that should be fun, right? 11 PAX with 2 FNG’s made it out and didn’t quit. We made the most of 45 minutes and pushed our selves! Here’s the morning:
Warmup: Mosey around the parking lot and then Bear Crawl Ring-of-fire
YHC promised the need for gloves, even though one bear crawl experience had to be cut out due to time. Nice way to warm up. We added some SSH’s while we waited for an FNG.
Mosey to the church and Bearpee’s
OYO burped and 4-count bear crawls to the other end of the soccer field. Boomer was notably ahead of everybody.
Burp Back Mountain
The PAX probably thought YHC was headed over to his usual hill of pain, but we went around for 100 partner burpees with Bernie Sanders up playground hill. Maybe we should have picked a steeper hill? Some cadence squats while we wait for the six.
Captain Therkin
A fun twist on the old Captain Thor’s, adding 5 merkins in between the usual American Hammers and BBS’s. The ground was supposed to be dry?
Indian Run back to Hurricane’s, and then a few lunges. We finished with some Mary – LBC’s, Dying Cockroach, Dolly’s, and Buzz Saw.
Welcome FNG’s Puff and Mercury! As always, it’s an honor to lead and be a part of the group. Let’s remember to pray for those who are struggling with sicknesses, great or small. A couple of events:
- Macon Launch starts on 5/19 and continues for 3 weeks.
- F3 Puerto Rico trip coming up in the Fall, contact HA HA for details.
- No Longer Bound – 5:15 on Wednesdays at Caney Creek Park.
