I had the pleasure of leading a great group of 10 men today in my #VQ, including an #FNG.
It was a nice, warm morning with a breeze.
Feeling like summer has arrived with the opening of pools and beach trips in the near future, I decided to borrow an exercise from a Saturday where only 3 of us got to enjoy Babyface’s body prep for summer. But before we get to the fun part, we moseyed into the stadium and here’s how we started things off:
Warm up (in cadence):
16 SSH
14 windmills
10 imperial walkers
10 monkey humpers
The Thang:
Our inner dragon came out with some Bruce Lee. OYO 20 reps of each American Hammer, Reverse LBC, LBC, Heel Touches, Crunchy Frogs, Flutter Kicks. 3 sets with a lap around the track between each and air chair until the 6 arrived before starting the next set.
After a quick 10 count we called upon our inner goat with some Stairway to Heaven on the bleachers. OYO 1 burpee, 1 incline merkin then run to the top, do 1 squat and head back down. Increase by 1 until you get to 10 of each. Plank at midfield until the 6 arrives.
Quick 10 count then the Kodiak came out in our Bear Crawl Ring of Fire. PAX circled up and bear crawled until Q halted. Then Q started with 10 merkins while everyone planked all the way around. Finished just in time to mosey back to the flag.
