Preamble:

The morning after your birthday is always a fun day to lead a beatdown after you’ve stayed up late, ate junk, and maybe had an adult beverage or 3-4.  To be honest, I was looking forward to this more than most should.  Props to Milli Vanilli for allowing me to Q on his ACTUAL birthday and taking the Q on Friday instead.

YHC turned 43 yesterday and know the special meaning the #43 has on F3.  When F3 was founded in 2011, most of the initial PAX were 43 years old and it became a running joke.  The podcast is titled 43 feet (or something like that), anyhow, I digress.

Warm-O-Rama:

Mosey to the Dam.

SSH’s, WPs, Imp Walkers,, Covids, Arm Circles.

Mosey to the Boat Launch for a Circle Burp w/ High Knees (16 Total)

The Thang:

This Day In History some OTHER famous people were born as well:

  • Billy Joel – 74 Years Old
  • Tony Gwynn (RIP) – 63 Years Old
  • Steve Yzerman – 58 Years Old
  • This Day in History – May 10 – J Edgar Hoover begins his 48 year tenure as Director of the FBI in 1924!

Count Off 1’s & 2’s by the Dam.  Grab a Coupon.  Team 1 runs the dam hill while Team 2 exercises.  You v You.

9 * Mercans (today’s date)

43 * Overhead Presses w/ coupon (Townie’s age)

48 * Squats w/ the coupon (Hoover’s tenure)

58 * Skull Crushers w/ coupon (Yzerman age)

63 * American Hammers (Gwynn age)

74 * Curls for the Gurls w/ coupon (Billy Joel’s age)

ALL PAX to finish their reps, then Mary until 6 is in.  Mosey back to Flag for some WAR with Deck of Death.

Townie (Team 1) vs Milli Vanilli (Team 2) WAR.  Winning team chooses the card they would rather perform and hand-out the losing team’s exercise.  If there’s a tie, then WAR is played out and losing team has to perform all 5 of the cards.

COT:

Welcome to SmokeBomb and special shout-out to @bigpapi who joined us from F3 Cherokee where he’s Site Q at Warshed (pronounced War-Shed, not how midwesterners say “washed”)

Blood Drive June 2

Windjammer will be closed on Memorial Day, we will be joining The Murph challenge at Brook Street Park instead

Naked-Man Moleskin:

Couldn’t ask for a better morning, better group of men, or better way to spend my birthday than getting to lead this crew for 45 minutes.  Always honored.  Thank you.
