YHC picked up the late evening Q and didn’t give it much thought until early AM – and as history would confirm, less planning equals more pain. All I can say is, we were moving… Here’s how it went down:
Mosey half the parking lot and finishing with:
- Weed Picker
- Windmill – still hurting from Lt. Dan
In order to fully utilize our time, YHC decided to do the full Beatdown in the parking Lot. The initial idea was 4 corners, but Xtra Large. Here’s what happened… Station one at the covered area at TT, station two at the Crab S, then 3 at the theater and 4 next to Wings – then back to 1. The PAX perform 20 reps of each exercise at the station and run to the next:
Station 1: Hand release merkins, American Hammers (2 count)
Station 2: Squats, Big Boys
Station 3: Ankle Grinders, Gas Pumpers
Station 4: High Knee Jump Squats, LBCs
It sounds easier than it was, but we were all huffing it after round 1. Since two times around is about as long as an IT workout, we did it again.
After a 10 count, short mosey for some Xtra Large mucho-chesto suicides. YHC can never remember the order, but thankfully the PAX did. 20 Reps of each Merkin before each suicide run – 100 Merkins total. It was fun.
Another short mosey for ATW bear crawl. Circle up and 1 PAX calls any exercise he wants. He then bear crawls around the circle while the rest of the PAX perform said exercise. Exercises were:
- Gas pumpers
- Carolina Dry Docks
- YHC unfortunately can’t remember what was called here
- Some sort of modified Twist Plank by Flo
- Shoulder Taps
YHC amazed how much we’re getting done decided it was time for some more suicides, but slightly modified. PAX perform 5 burpees, run to first line and bernie sanders back. 5 more burpees and so on – out to 5 lines. It was an excellent way to wrap things up…
We short moseyed back to the flag for YHC to call a little mary:
- LBC Flutter Kick
- Dying Cockroach
- 1 Minute Plank, which seemed like an eternity at the end of this beatdown
Prayers for Flo’s family travels, overall reach and growth for F3 and YHCs focus and energy for work and family.
Brothers, I appreciate you and am always honored to Q. Thanks for hanging in there and pushing me.
