YHC enjoys looking at Mondays in the calendar and seeing “Monday: Punch it in the face”, but on this Monday, after a beatdown drought leading into the holiday week – Monday got me good.  The PAX that heard YHC huffing and grunting through the beatdown can testify.  Those of you on The Wreck Slack channel know that there was an unfortunate happening at the office Monday, prayers appreciated, thanks for your grace and understanding with the late BB here.

Warmup: 530 hit after YHC unsuccessfully tried to stick the flag in the frozen tundra at the Wreck (thanks I-Beam for helping a brother out) we moseyed to the parking lot next to the gridiron.

  • Windmill: 15 IC
  • Merkins: 20 IC
  • Imperial Walkers 15 IC
  • Squats: 15 IC
  • SSH: 25 IC

The Thang kicked off as we moseyed to the gridiron for sprints and merkins.  Beginning at the goal line, sprint to the 10 for 10 merkins, back to the goal line. To the 20 for 9 merkins, back to the goal line.  To the 30 for 7 merkins and back to goal line, and so on until reaching a full AYG 100 yard sprint to the opposite goal line for 1 merkin and then back to starting spot.

We then made a quick mosey to the cement bleachers for a trio of exercises.  Beginning with 11 box jumps, 11 derkins and 11 dips, descend by doing same trio down to 1 of each OYO

Mosey back to the gridiron, 4 corners building on each exercise:

  • 10 BBS
  • 10 BBS, 20 diamond merkins
  • 10 BBS, 20 diamond merkins, 30 monkey humpers
  • 10 BBS, 20 diamond merkins, 30 monkey humpers, 40 JLos

Jack Webbs; routine beginning with 1 merkin to 4 air presses, ascending rep count of each  to 10 merkins  / 40 air presses

While it felt like it had been a 2 hour beat down for YHC, it was only 605, we mosey to the flag for Mary where Aflac got us started while catching my breath: Dying Cockroach, flutter kick, american hammer.

Announcements: Sprocket appreciative of the support and prayers being felt for his family during this time

Circle of Trust: prayers of thanksgiving for the little things that are really the big things; time with families, roof over our heads, jobs, grateful for a growing brotherhood at the wreck who are holding YHC and others accountable
