Schadenfreude and Schnitzel – Or “The day we all were disappointed watching Dunshire put ketchup on a steak.”

Preamble:

Warm-O-Rama:

YHC was a few minutes late getting away from the office and by the time I arrived everyone was present and sitting outside on the covered patio.  We met at Gasthaus Tirol in Cumming. – It was not difficult to tell F3 was there because I could hear them all from the parking lot.

The Thang:

Everyone had a really great time. We dissuaded Suarez from ordering Das Boot – but he did enjoy a large adult beverage. The waitress pegged us as trouble from the moment we all arrived. 🙂 We did rise to the occasion and fill her expectations.

The food was delicious even if some of the presentation was decidedly very “German” and by German I mean rather phallic.

Everyone enjoyed their food including Dunshire who requested ketchup for his New York strip. This was noted and added to his permanent file.

There was great discussion, plenty of laughter, a modest amount of adult beverages (it was a Tuesday after all)

All in all a great time was had. If you’re in the neighborhood give Gasthaus Tirol a visit. You will Danke me later.
