Borrowed Music

Preamble:

A text from Mounty on Sunday alerted me that yes, I did sign up to Q. This was in honor of my US Citizenship anniversary.

YHC initiated #swt-music channel on the Nation’s Slack for sharing playlists, since I am not as gifted as others in this department and hoped to get inspiration from other groups. The weather forecast said it will rain Monday morning, after 9am. Woke up for the clear sound of rain. Drove to the AO in the rain, while my weather app insisted the sky are clear. It stopped raining 5 minutes before we started. We would have worked out in the rain anyway, but there would not have been tunes. As FannyPack reminded me, some time ago I commented that staying dry is not a core principle!

Warm-O-Rama:

Mosey in the parking lot. Circle up for SSH, Hillbillies, Weed Pickers, Moroccan Night Clubs and – one handed are circles while holding T position on the ground (one handed plank, arm circles with the other arm in the air).

The Thang:

Mosey to the field and start at one end. Each exercise is done on both sides of the field, across the long end. 3 Kraken Burpees (a burpee with 3 hand release merkins) toll in the middle each direction.

Most of the Indianapolis music was decent. A few odd surprises, like the Adams family theme song and an ambulance siren.

We had just enough time to run back to the flag for 30 LBCs.
