A Little Travelin’ Music, Please…….

AO: Gladiator

When: 04/18/2023

QIC: Dinghy

PAX (10): Bo Knows, defcon2, Delicious, Judy, Manchester, Mater, Spandex, Tebow, Brownie

Preamble:

YHC knew getting and keeping PAX attention would be difficult this morning, especially when the first comment was “Is this playlist going to suck?” Welp, anticipating a tough veteran crowd, YHC prepared a tough, no nonsense beatdown with some tunes that embodied adventure (e.g., Theme to Tequilia, a little bit of Reggaeton, Earache My Eye, Hollaback Girl) and, with an abbreviated disclaimer, off we went)

Warm-O-Rama:

Weedpickers – 10 ;  Willie Mays Hays – 14 ; Moroccan Nightclubs – 10 ; Side Straddle Hops -10; Mosey to the far shelter (to “Follow the Yellow Brick Road” and the theme to “Good, Bad, and the Ugly”)

The Thang:

  1. 11’s, with Dercans and Bonnie Blairs under the pavilion
  2. To the parking lot. Conduct Burpees paired with Bonnie Blairs (again) for reps of 5-10-15-20. After each set, run 1 lap around the lot for the first set, 2 after the second, etc. Hillbilly for the 6.
  3. Mosey to the baseball field concession stand. 11’s at the bricks, with step ups and dips. Between each exercise, do 5 SSH’s. Air chair for the 6.
  4. Mosey back to the main park building, find a wall. Tabatas, pairing BTTW with monkey humpers (minimum 15), air chair during rest period.
  5. Mosey back to the flag. Mary with: Gas pumpers, V-ups, LBC’s (lots), Box cutters…and that was time!

COT:

  1. Don’t forget the Halpha CSAUP this Friday at The Rubicon, 8 pm to 8 am.
  2. Praises for Spandex’s 19th wedding anniversary, and Dinghy’s 33rd anniversary of first date with his M (and recent 29th wedding anniversay)

Naked-Man Moleskin:

There’s a reason why YHC enjoys Qing at The Gladiator, and why it’s also a challenge to get on the Qsheet: Constant max effort of a bunch of HIMs, every time. It’s a worthy endeavor to lead the motivated, and it’s an opportunity to expand the repertoire. It was a privilege to Q this morning – well done, men!
