Preamble:
Today was my birthday (turned 32), and I could not think of a better way to kick it off than ITG with other HIM. For the VQ Birthday Beatdown we conducted the Pain Train and took a trip on the A(m)PLHA line – the ‘m’ is silent. Thanks to Script Kiddie and Suarez for bringing coupons, and again to Script Kiddie for bringing a speaker and java.

The Thang:
For the A(m)LPHA line of the Pain Train, there were three stations around the Starting Line short loop. Each PAX grabbed one coupon. To each station, PAX would one-handed Farmers’ Carry their coupon and switch hands as needed.
Beginning at the first station, PAX would complete the first exercise on the A(m)PLHA line then proceed to the next station with their coupon. Upon arriving at the second station, the first exercise would be conducted followed by the second exercise. This was continued until all 6 stations were completed finishing will all 6 A(m)LPHA exercises.
The A(m)LPHA line:
A – Absolutions x10
(m) – merkins x20
L – Lunges x30
P – Plank Jacks x40
H – Happy Jacks x50
A – American Hammers x60
An audible was called after completing the first station. Instead of x10 Absolutions, the following stations would only have x5.
After arriving at our destination, we had time for 5 minutes of Mary. Each PAX selected a workout and we cycled through until time.
