Preamble:

  • It was a glorious morning with low humidity and temps in the upper 50s. Stars covered the sky and the Norseman owl was looking for a mate.  But it was time for some serious work. I had 2 ideas planned for this morning so I gave the PAX the choice: coupon or body weight workout? Body weight was selected.

Warm-O-Rama:

We had 1 FNG (Welcome CFIT) so a thorough disclaimer was delivered and off we went.

Straight into HotSauce making his motorcycle entrance.

We circled at the parking area by Turf Field 2 for:

  • SSH
  • Weed Pickers
  • Imperial Walkers
  • Iron Cross
  • Arm Circles OYO
  • Covids

 

The Thang:

Time to get to work. A very short mosey to the main street where we partnered up for:

Bear Crawl BLIMPS

BLIMPS:

  • Burpees x5
  • Lunge x10
  • Imperial Walker x15
  • Merkin x20
  • Plank Jack x25
  • Squat x30

 

Partner 1 bear crawls toward Bethany Bend while partner 2 performs BLIMPS starting with Burpees. After 5 Burpees run and catch up with your partner and switch. After Partner 1 finishes Burpees and runs and switches and partner 2 does Burpees and Lunges. Continue on until both partners complete the full BLIMPS.

Recover the PAX and run back to the flag by way of Joro spider trail to the back pavilion with a stop for 20 in cadence count Derkins.

Continue to the flag for:

  • LBC
  • Freddie Mercury
  • Flutter Kicks
  • Merkins

6:15 and shoulders are now thoroughly cooked.

 

COT:

  • The Norsemen have the October NLB Saturday morning beatdown and breakfast on 10/22
  • Convergence at Newtown Park on 10/29
