Totally cruddy weather didn't keep 5 men from getting stronger.


Warm up under the safety and relative dryness of the pavilion.

The Thang:

Board of pain presented with 12 different exercises plus some stuff in between each exercise. Goal was to get 58 reps of each exercise but not all at once. We informally decided to break them up into 20-20-18 and got through them all but had to modify on the in between stuff for sake of time. Exercises were:
  • HR Mike Tysons (a new crowd favorite I can tell)
  • BBSUs
  • Monkey Humpers
  • Dry docks
  • J-Lo's
  • Jump squats
  • Shoulder taps
  • Reverse LBCs
  • Lunges
  • Diamond merkins
  • Freddies
  • Calf raises
The in between stuff was one of the following:
  • Coupon Curls x20
  • Coupon Rows x20
  • Run to the library and back
During the 3rd or 4th run we got a little light show from above and quickly modified to running around under the pavilions. Time called with no mary needed.


Prayers for my friend David who is hoping for a new heart today or tomorrow. Praise for hostages released in Israel/Gaza. Praise for the community of men.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

We are studying the book of James at our church. Chapter 3 focuses on the power of the tongue. It can build up and it can burn down. I was able to share how much some words by Fannypack on Friday meant to me and how he does a great job of encouraging guys all the time. I left the group with this thought/challenge (which is not my original thought but love it enough to share it): Imagine if, every time we thought something nice, positive, etc. about someone we took the time to tell them, how much better this world would be. --Speedo out
