Preamble:

The rain held off as we got started.  We moseyed down the hill and did our warmup, then back up the hill for the BD.

Warm-O-Rama:

SSH

Sun Gods

Imperial Walkers

Willie Mays Hays

Overhead Claps

Michael Phelps

The Thang:

5 exercises: start with first, then run up and down the “hill”; then first plus second and 2 laps up and down the hill and so on until on 5th round, do all 5 exercises and 5 times up and down the hill.  On lap #6, drop the first exercise, do second thru fifth and drop to 4 times up and down and then so on until just last exercise and once up and down.

the Exercises were:

  1. 10 Merkins
  2. 10 Squats
  3. 10 Tricep Dips
  4. 10 Elbows to Knees crunches
  5. 10 Plank Jacks

at the end, each PAX has done 50 reps of each and a decent amount of running; started to have some drizzling rain during the BD but not enough to interfere

No Mary as this was timed almost exactly right

COT:

Acceleration Point:  YHC hates running and doing Merkins, so I made sure to incorporate both in this workout to Embrace the Suck.  Won’t get better at the things that are difficult for us if we don’t try.
