Preamble:
We had 8 HC for the beat down and 6 for the pre run. Figured it would be a slow day at the creek for my 1 year beat down. Apparently PAX are not so good at the internet because 11 pre runners rolled out at 0500. Upon our return we were greeted with a parking lot full of cars and 19 PAX eagerly awaiting the festivities. It would have been 20 but Inseam fart sacked. So disappointing.
Warm-O-Rama:
Mosey to the rock pile.
Weed pickers
SSH
Moraccan night clubs
Micheal phelps
The Thang:
Grab a man size coupon and a partner. DORA
100 curls
100 chest press
100 skull crushers
The other partner runs up the big hill to the 3rd sign and deposited 10 merkins before running back.
2 line Indian run to the baseball fields for some more fun. 2 lines of PAX attempting to do an Indian run at the same time is rather complicated.
8 min Dora. Partner 1 runs 2 laps around the concession stand. Partner 2 10x10x10 Dips, Durkins, LBC.
After completion we lined up in 2 lines and did singles races up the hill. The line with the most winners did 20 big boys. The losers did 10 wolverines. At this point Whiz began to complain about the fact that the losers were punished so harshly. His complaints continued throughout the remainder. He was reminded it pays to win, and neither he nor I were on the winning team. Ultimately his psychological warfare against the winners prevailed and they did some burpees out of guilt.
The reminder was spent on a mystery mile run around the bean with quick pain stops along the way.
Some seemed tired and disgruntled. My work was done
COT:
Prayers for Crab Cake as he navigates a difficult season with his son. Also prayers for PAX as they work though opportunity at work.
Naked-Man Moleskin:
It has been an amazing year. I am honored and humbled to lead such great men.
