No-See-Lumb Week Round #1

Preamble:

No-See-Lumb Week is here.

Lumbergh, the ever surprising and creative genius he is, had an idea. Since this week is filled with an Anniversary (NSU 7th) and a Birthday (Lumb’s 43rd)…let’s write up each others beatdown weinke’s and give to each other right at 5:30 am.

Sounds like fun, Let’s Do It!!!

A meticulous & neatly typed out Disclaimer by my good friend and role model, Lumbergh was read aloud and then it was time to get to it.

Warm-O-Rama:

Mosey to the Recreation Center (see top left post-it)

An OG pax, Grits, is who EH’d YHC back on June 2, 2015. Grits has since moved back to North Carolina but think about him when the pax workout in the Pavilion as it used to be called “Grits Pavilion”.

The Thang:

Thang #1:

To the playground and partner up for some modified Dora with two different options. YHC loves options and especially in this case as one of the Dora options was eerily similar to The Murph.

Partner A: Runs across bridge and back

Partner B: 50 Burpees, 100 Big Boys, 150 Donkey Kicks

Thang #2:

Mosey to FOD (next is something from YHC’s first ever BD led by the king, Mufasa)

Four Corners w/ Escalator

• 10 Merkins
• 20 Flutters
• 30 Squats
• 40 LBC

*R&R in reverse & de-escalate

At some point during Thang #2, Lumbergh prompted YHC with a yellow sticky note to “Ask if anyone saw Top Gun”….this proceeded to get a chuckle but also start some mumble chatter.

After Thang #2 was complete, a “10-Count” yellow sticky note was flashed so that is what we did…..counted to 10.  Then a “Back to the Flag” note was flashed….

Thang #3:

Split everyone up in pre-lumbergh-born before June 1979 & post-lumbergh-born after June 1979. Cookie came to the old guys side to even out the teams. From here the pax lined up face to face and did Diamond Merkins until Failure. Caffey edged out NSU at the end to win the crown.

Time for some Mary at the end which included Freddie Mercury’s, JigSaw’s?, Pickle Pounders, Fire Hydrants and more.

COT:

• Prayers for all those families in Texas of the elementary school shooting.
• YHC forgot to mention this during COT but was talked about at coffeeteria. There were 5 killed in a boating accident in Savannah this past Saturday and 4 were a family from the Alpharetta area (dad, mom, two sons)….their daughter and a friend survived.
• Prayers for safe travels for all those pax out this week.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

7 years gone by in a hurry but since that first FNG post by YHC. Always thankful beyond imagination for this thing called F3. It is a cliche, but I really think I’m in the best shape of my life! What I mean is Physically, Emotionally, Spiritually, etc.

A lot of work still left to do and SO many other men out there that need F3 in their lives! Let’s continue to get after men and give this thing away.
