Preamble:

So, there was a real interesting conversation going on in mumblechatter channel. Is F3 getting soft? Are we getting soft? Are we doing the hard things?

Well, YHC had the Q today and decided to do hard things.

Warm-O-Rama:

Disclaimer and exhortation to push yourself today.  We are not all gazelles but we can all push ourselves hard.

I also had a piece of railroad track to use as a coupon today. We would take turns carrying the “Burden”. When it gets to be more than you can carry, pass it off to the next guy and share your burden.

We mosied down to Lake Norseman for:

  • SSH
  • Weed Pickers
  • Imperial Walkers

The Thang:

We then turned our headlamps on and mosied into the woods behind the lake and took a right turn up to St. Aiden’s back parking lot.

Thang 1

Starting at the back of the lot, bear crawl to the other side stopping at each parking space line for increasing Merkins. 1 at the first line, 2 at the second… up to 5. Then go back down to 1 and count up again until reaching the other side. The guy with The Burden take a step and squat.

After completing one crawl we mosied back into the woods, down the hill, across Norseman Creek and up Nacho’s Hill of Death to the playground pavilion at the back of the Big Lot.

Thang 2

Pair up for Dora:

  • 100 Merkins
  • 200 Squats
  • 300 LBCs

Meanwhile The Burden continues to be passed as necessary to PAX running up and down Nacho’s Hill of Death.

Thang 3

After everyone completed the Dora we mosied across the Big Lot to the Miracle League pavilion and the step up wall.

  • 10 IC Step Ups left leg
  • 20 IC Step Ups right leg
  • 10 Derkins
  • 10 more Derkins
  • Move to the picnic tables and squats while lightly touching your 6 to the picnic bench.

The Burden is still being passed and now YHC gets to carry it back to the flag.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

Thanks for pushing this morning. We grow when we push out of our comfort zone. Whether it is at a workout, at home with our M and 2.0s, at work or family and friends. What are you doing to push out of the comfort zone today?

Stay hard, Alpha!
