The Thang:

5 pax hit the sidewalk to make our way through Alpharetta to share some of my favorite places to eat and drink. An escalator is included at each stop throughout.

  • Stop at Pure for 5 burpees (A great place for a lunch date/dinner date)
  • Run to the hidden gem Where’s the Scoop for 10 jump squats, + 5 burpees (A couple of Tech grads who make ice cream with science)
  • To Town Square by Charinga for 15 merkins + the above (Best margarita in my opinion, good guac and chips too, shout out to the Indian Street Food place on my places-to-try list)
  • Past Kilwins (another great treat shop) and behind city hall where you can get a free workout apparently for 20 LBC + all
  • Down the Alpha Loop toward Avalon. 25 Air Presses + all (Check out gusto! in avalon although we didn’t go that far)
  • Back up the loop and over to Jekyll Brewing for 35 Dips + all (perfect for your 2nd F’s)
  • Up Milton Ave past Truck and Tap (Try Singo on Wednesdays) and Valor (Great coffee shop) for 30 lunges + all (Yes, i went out of order)
  • Across the street to Kale Me Crazy (For your recovery smoothies but not this early) with 40 Flutter Kicks + all (Always a place to do dips around Alpharetta)
  • To the stadium to grab a cinder for 25 curls + 25 Rows + all
  • A couple of 200m sprints and a set of stadium stairs
  • Back toward Wills Park with one more stop at the rock pile for extra curls and rows.
  • Join Rubicon back at the flag for a little Mary.

Anywhere between 3.8 and 5.3 miles depending on your watch brand or auto pause settings.

Great crew this morning moving all over the city. Love this new style of running and working that HI is bringing. Always a pleasure to lead this group.
