It’s always fun to visit another F3 region when you are Down Range (DR) but it is especially fun when the region is your home town and the PAX of that town are crazy enough to let you Q! Several of teh girlfriends told me they wanted to come so the perfect storm was shaping up for them beat down in Hull Park on Wednesday morning before Thanksgiving. YHC is running the Turkey Trot 4 miler tomorrow so lets keep it arm heavy.
After introductions we took a lap of the AO which is one of Savannah’s many small neighborhood parks. This one has a small baseball diamond, playground and a very small concrete “amphitheater” which looks like in the warmer months has a water feature to play in.
We took a lap around the park to warm up and stopped by the flag for:
- SSH IC
- Weed Pickers IC
- Windmills IC
- Imperial Walkers IC
We mosied back over the the car and I introduced the girlfriends to the Savannah PAX. They seemed really excited! (the girlfriends, not the PAX). We moved back to the concrete area by the fountain and set up a Dora:
- PAX 1 runs to home plate and back while PAX two works on 200 hammer curls then flapjack until the count is reached
- PAX 1 runs to home plate and back while PAX two works on 200 overhead presses then flapjack until the count is reached
- PAX 1 runs to home plate and back while PAX two works on 200 weighted squats then flapjack until the count is reached
With time running short we moved on to Mary and the Oh My Abs routine:
- 30 seconds of flutter kicks
- 10 secs rest
- 30 secs American Hammer
- 10 secs rest
- 30 secs leg lifts
- 10 seconds rest
- 30 seconds J Lo
- 10 secs rest
- 30 seconds Jane Fonda left
- 10 seconds rest
- 30 seconds Jane Fonda Right
Times up.
Great to see the Savannah PAX again. Seems I only make it down once a year but F3 brothers are just about everywhere you go and it is always a fun time.
