Have you ever done something where the after effects lasted long after the event was over? Yeah, that was the Iron PAX week 1 workout. I think all that participated earlier in the week were feeling the effects of Bonnie Blair and her tortures. So what better way to kick Bonnie to the curb than to do something else hard to take your mind off of the previous hard? Yeah, I didn’t think it would work either but we had to try.
So, the girlfriends made a return to Big Creek! It has been quite a while since they have to the AO. Several Rubicon faithful came up as well to join in on the fun.
After a disclaimer we moseied down to the parking lot and circled up for a warm up. The girls were in the truck right there next to us. They kept their eyes on us while we did:

Enough warming. it was time to get busy.

Partner up with one girlfriend per partner (doesn’t it always seem to be that way?) While partner 1 runs to the intersection and back, partner 2 performs the exercise that goes with the song playing. Continue this rotation until the song ends. New song, new exercise. Still running. All exercises are with your girlfriend except the Merkins. The merkins stands alone. So with the sound system in Truck Norris blasting Life in the Fast Lane we started off…

It is a great bunch of guys growing and getting it done up at Big Creek! Good to meet the new faces that have been added to the ranks. Good to have some brothers up from the Rube as well. ABH: Always Be Headlocking.
