So what’s the Sweat Wagon doing at the Rubicon? Well, let me explain. A while back some of us #WreckBoys thought it would be fun to do a little Q Sheet takeover for our brothers at the Rubicon for the month of August. It was then that the #Wreckicon became a thing. It was not until much later that the Rubicon realized it was a thing. But now it was time to make good on the deal and kick this thing off. So… at 0530 we were off moseying in the dark. To where, I really had no idea.
Finding what seemed like a suitable spot for a warmup we circled up for 15 each of: SSHs, Imperial Walkers, Windmills, Mountain Climbers and Weed Pickers.
From there we moseyed back along the only sidewalk YHC was familiar with to the Field of Dreams.
The Thang:
Lining up along the outfield fence we did a little escalator consisting of the following:
Round 1: 5 Burpees, run to the first base line and back; plank for the six
Round 2: 5 Burpees, 10 Merkins, run to the first base line and back; air chairfor the six
Round 3: 5 Burpees, 10 Merkins, 15 LBCs, run to the first base line and back; plank for the six
Round 4: 5 Burpees, 10 Merkins, 15 LBCs, 20 Dry Docks, run to the first base line and back; plank for the six
Round 5: 5 Burpees, 10 Merkins, 15 LBCs, 20 Dry Docks, 25 Squats, run to the first base line and back; plank for the six
Round 6: 5 Burpees, 10 Merkins, 15 LBCs, 20 Dry Docks, 25 Squats, 1 minute elbow planks, run to the first base line and back; plank for the six
Round 7: 5 Burpees, 10 Merkins, 15 LBCs, 20 Dry Docks, 25 Squats, 1 minute elbow planks, 35 American Hammers, run to the first base line and back; plank for the six
Round 8: 5 Burpees, 10 Merkins, 15 LBCs, 20 Dry Docks, 25 Squats, 1 minute elbow planks, 35 American Hammers, 40 Overhead presses in Air Chair, run to the first base line and back; plank for the six
Round 9: 5 Burpees, 10 Merkins, 15 LBCs, 20 Dry Docks, 25 Squats, 1 minute elbow planks, 35 American Hammers, 40 Overhead presses in Air Chair, 50 Side Straddle Hops, run to the first base line and back; plank for the six
We finished up with about 5 minutes on the clock. It would be blasphemy for a GMonkey workout not to include some crawlin so YHC chose to mosey over the nearest wall (which also happened to have a nice little hill) for some simple 7s, or as many as time would permit: Mike Tysons at the top, Bear Crawl down the hill, Big Boy Sit Ups at the bottom, Crab Walk back up. I think 5 minutes got us about 3-4 rounds.
Back to the flag without a minute to spare. No Mary for today.

Big thanks to our Rubicon brothers for hosting our invasion. Let the fun continue all month long.
