A lumbergh Carol

Preamble:

Called upon by one of my FNG children to return to Boneyard I found a nice little spot in December to drop back in and lead this group again. A pre-blast that harkened Dicken’s ‘A Christmas Carol’ evolved into what would become the beatdown today. Threat of rain but as Dickens wrote:

• External heat and cold had little influence on [lumbergh]. No warmth could warm, no wintry weather chill him. No wind that blew was bitterer than he, no falling snow was more intent upon its purpose, no pelting rain less open to entreaty. Foul weather didn’t know where to have him.
• A call for Cinders was mostly heard and a call for HC’s was not but the Pax showed up in force.
• Will lumbergh and the pax change their ways after our spirited visitors?
• 

Warm-O-Rama:

A little mosey for the usual except for an extremely random count with each exercise. Try not to overthink that, it’s just Monday.

The Thang:

The pax were warned of being visited by three spirits of F3 Boneyard.

• 
• First up is the ghost of Boneyard Past where we return to the first Boneyard BD held by Feathers.
  • 3 Corners (for some reason?) with:
  • Mercans followed by Bernie Sanders
  • Big Bois followed by karaoke
  • Squat Jumps followed by a run
  • Start at 21 reps for all and decrease by 3
• We got to about the 12’s when YHC could take no more and we moved on to the:
• 
• Ghost of Boneyard Present where your Q has taken control and brings out one of his famed acrostics (not anagram as mentioned). Reset the rep count and do:
  • Plank Jack
  • Rosalita
  • E2k Left
  • Squat
  • E2k Right
  • No Cheat Mercan
  • Thruster
• Getting into the 15 counts and time is ticking away we must see what the Ghost of Christmas Yet To Come holds which is:
• 
• Cinders (Serving as our headstones) we must lug these every way we can with:
  • Bench Presses
  • Skull Crushers
  • Curls
  • Hammers with the block
  • Run to the stop sign and back
• YHC called it and asked Stroller to lead us in Mary for the last minute while I grabbed my phone. I am not sure what he said but it was more than just saying “LBC” and when another pax called time he obliged and we returned to our present day.

I think we all learned the true meaning of Boneyard today and will spread that cheer this rainy Monday. YHC still refuses to change his ways of posting as often as he can and serving as Q when called upon.
