Holiday Acronyms

Preamble:

YHC had forgotten he signed up, but luckily the holiday provided some inspiration and there was plenty of brisket to work off. Despite the ominous forecast, the skies stayed (semi) clear for a perfect start to the day.

Warm-O-Rama:

Mosey to the water for SSH, weed pickers, copperhead squats and arm circles (OYO).

The Thang:

Headed to the sports park for the light of the pavilion (and coverage just in case). While we have various acronyms – BLIMPs, etc. – it was time for a new Passover-themed addition.

We started with MOSES – mercans, outlaws, squats, E2Ks, smurfjacks (multiple rounds with a run to the gate between sets)

Then on to MATZO – mountain climbers, annies, Tony Hawk burpees, zombie crunches, overhead claps (multiple rounds with a short Bernie up the hill and mosey back)

Finished with a short Dora – one pax doing curls with coupon, while the other carried a coupon (as if fleeing Pharaoh). Second round was skull crushers.

Run up the hill and mosey back to flag.

COT:

Prayers for NRA’s mom and stepmom recovering from surgeries.

Prayers for everyone traveling for spring break and the holidays.

Appreciate everyone joining today with the holidays, spring break and threat of bad weather. Was prepared for solo beat down, but much more enjoyable and meaningful with  a crew.
