Leg Hi-Jacked in the 3rd Person

Preamble:

Tune in to the on going saga of “picking up the Q at The Wreck” Grease Monkey was supposed to Q but had a work travel thingy pop up. Audible on the Slack for some “Q-Aid” went out. With the admonishment to hurry on the commit or Aflac would impose on us like an over eager middle schooler at his first dance and he wanted to show off that he learned how to moonwalk. Have not FEAR!!! Norm is here! Norm came prepared…..now for the rest of the story I know you are breathless to hear.

Warm-O-Rama:

It was a beautiful day in the dark in the park. Perfect temperatures and a few really loud as hell Mocking birds really proud of their eggs. Norm came prepared to take us to “oak knoll hill.” We knew what he meant. But Aflac had other plans and Norm being the gentle sweaty missing a piece of his back kind of guy he is,  acquiesced. (big word alert)

We moseyed to the playground to warm up on the newly laid Sasquatch hair multch. Since Aflac is old (I think he takes special pills) but won’t admit it we started with Abe Vigodas, Imperial Walkers, Toy Soldiers, Slow Squats.

The Thang:

Being at the playground we proceeded to “perform” (love that word) single leg presses while balancing the other leg up behind us on the picnic table. 20 reps each leg. Then lean backwards against the wall and perform 20 foot flexes while balancing on your heels. Flipover lean with hands on wall and do 20 calf raises. Three rounds of this until you get to the end, and tell everyone to another fourth roound.  It was a nice burn I must say.

Run backwards up the hill, we found a convenient pile of coupons possibly holding up a wall. But we grabbed a coupon, perform 20 RDL (Romanian Deadlift) and ran back wards up the driveway to speed bump. Perform 20  squats. Repeat three or four times. I just remember having soooo much fun running backwards in the dark.

Glad I don’t hold coffee with my toes. The legs were burning.

We then did curls overhead presses somewhere along the way.

Then we moseyed back the long way and did burpees at every lamp post. Finiched up with some 6 inch leg presses to time out.

COT:

Lots of PAX needing some pick up reach outs. AFlac’s M’s mom and dad can use prayers. Pusher thanked everyone for the support getting a new position this week. I never regret a single BD with this group of men ever. No matter who can’t get to their Q! Thanks for the memories Grease monkey!
