Golfing while we run?

Preamble:

How do you combat a reputation of not posting when it is below 40 degrees and not being a guy who likes running.  Lead a running AO at 31 degrees is an idea!

Warm-O-Rama:

Listen to Snowman complain about having to carry a plastic golf club.  I asked him if he would rather carry my balls.

He stuck to the shaft(club)…and we’re off!

The Thang:

We ran down (more like up) Tribble Gap to and thru FCHS parking lot.  We found a gate open to a well-lit path and oood and ahhhed at the nice facilities as we continued on to the city center still under construction.

As we approached the city center, we trekked down several flights of stairs (Crab Cake counted them) and would come to hate them later.

We moseyed over to the “executive golf course” and counted off for 4 groups of 3.  There were 6 golf balls in a bag, 3 white and 3 colorful balls.  With a blind draw, a PAX from each group drew a ball.  If it was white, you got one throw to get as close to the hole as you can.  If it was a colorful ball, you got to use the nice plastic putter than Snowman loved so much.  Closest to the hole got to pick stairs or non-stairs to run as a team.  Rinse and repeat 3-4 times.

we finished by attempting a mile long Indian run back to the flag…it was a colossal failure.

COT:

Discussion around upcoming 2nd F lunch tomorrow and 3rd F Santa Ruck coming in December.

QIC and Snowman talked about mental health and the importance of brotherhood. QIC class continued the challenge to all PAXs to have a “man date” or 1v1 meeting with a fellow PAX you may not know well or haven’t seen in a while.  YHC has his man-date scheduled for next week and hopes to have others.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

It was a great time and happy to have a dozen guys defeat the fart sack.
