43 Years of Flo
AO: The Hooch
When: 10/19/2022
QIC: Flo
PAX (11): BallBoy, Birdie, Boomer, Dinghy, Maguire, Mater, McCracken, Meatball, PuffDaddy, Scrooge
Preamble:
43 years ago a young family welcomed in their second child in to the world. That baby would eventually grow and mature in to the PAX you may know as Flo. With two good(ish) knees and the same positive attitude, YHC was able to step back in and lead a Birthday Q.
Warm-O-Rama:
After the the disclaimer, we all took two steps and started in on some Merkins, Baby Arm circles, and Squats until out of the corner of my eye I see PuffDaddy pull in (late). I quickly instructed the pax to follow me and we moseyed behind a nearby building to hide. We were air chairing for PuffDaddy and were going to loudly welcome him to the beatdown as he rounded the corner. Puff never came so we came out of hiding only to find Puff running towards us from the opposite side of the building. Enough fun, time to work!
The Thang:
We first moseyed in Indian Run, formation over towards the Chapel Hill at Perimeter Church. Each time YHC made it through the line and sprinted to the front, YHC would call halt and suggest an exercise. We ended up doing Merkins, Squats, and C Crunches.
Thing1:
At Chapel Hill we were lined up shoulder to shoulder looking down the hill. Round 1= mosey down Burney back. Round 2= same thing twice. Round 3= same thing three times.
Once completed YHC called for 43 Monkey Humpers
Thing2:
The next stop was the playground we paired up. 4 stations (Pull-ups, Piston Squats, Hand Release Merkins, and Burpess)
The team was responsible for 43 reps at each station. One PAX moseying to the other end of the lot while the other was working.
Thing3:
Moseyed back over to Chapel Hill and stopped for 43 dips along the way. From the bottom of hill each PAX attempted to Crawl Bear back up to the parking lot. Total shoulder smoker.
Once collected we moseyed back to the flag for 5 MOM, round robin style.
COT:
Announcements: Convergence at the Boneyard, more details to come.
Prayer Request: Health of our group, some travel mercies, and prayers of gratitude for Dinghy’s new gig.
Naked-Man Moleskin:
Honored to lead this group of guys! F3 has been transitional for me over years in how I see my call at home, church, work, and with friends/family. Getting to lead after this last 8 months of limited participation is truly an awesome BDay gift.
