Route 66 in ‘Merica!

Preamble:

Wish there was a sunrise, but it was dark & gloomy at The Cowbell. That didn’t stop 6 men from showing up for arms day. How will we know where to stop and do burpees? It was marked by ‘Merica that’s how.

The Thang:

Thang 1: ROUTE 66

American Flags were set up from near the trail entrance, up through the rotary and around the parking lot. 1 Burpee, run to next flag, 2 burpees, and so on to 11th flag 11 burpees. That’s 66 Burpees.

The only logical way back to where we started is a U-TURN (thank you F3-Harp!). This time we did Merkins on the way back, 1-11 for 66 Merkins.

Thang 2: ARMS DAY

Grab a coupon, head to the football field for 4 Corners. Shoulders, Biceps, Triceps, Chest.

Corner 1: 25x Overhead Press
Corner 2: 25x Curls
Corner 3: 25x Skull Crushers
Corner 4: 25x Merkins

Rinse and Repeat for round 2 and round 3. Except YHC called an audible as the arms were no longer functional for Merkins, we subbed for Squats.

Thang 3: LEGS

Now that arms are jelly let’s get at least some leg work in.

Start at the goal line and Lunge Walk 50 yards.
Then sprint 50 yards to the far goal line, perform 50 Toe Raises.
Then sprint 100 yards back to the start, perform 50 Monkey Humpers.

Gather the coupons and redeposit, and head to the flag.
