Preamble:
Arrived right at 5 and got in a mile or 2 of rucking in before the main event aka morning BD. SirMixalot got there a minute or 2 before 530 and we headed out for the ruckWarm-O-Rama:
No warm up it was just time for some rucking and 2nd FThe Thang:
The last few BDs I was either flying solo or smartsacking due to a very late work shift that ended at midnight. It seems that lately the Dawson subregion has had more than its fair share of injuries, sickness, travel and other things keeping the PAX from posting so, I was very excited to see one HC from SirMixalot and with that info, I not really wanted to get a BD in and have some QT with one of my F3 brothers. We got some solid rucking in and some really great conversations, something I had really been in need of, and we did discuss the recent war of attrition that the region has been dealing with, but in the end I was glad to be in the gloom with a High Impact Man (SirMixalot) that has been a solid source of encouragement, thank you sir!! We got back to the Flag right at 615COT:
- No need for count or names, it was just 2 of us
- Announcement: Monday January 1st we are planning a mini CSAUP event at my house
- Starting at 830AM we plan to ruck my hilly subdivision (about 4 miles) and have some coffee at my house after words, so we start the year off with a solid ruck and some quality fellowship time after. If you want more info reach out to me on Slack or hop on the Firehouse_Starting Line slack page.
