Lining up some guest Q's in the coming months but had to grab the first to kick off our post Iron Pax workouts. Some nagging injuries lead us to the idea of a ruck beatdown
Packs on and off we go.
Great conversation throughout but we hit over to the parking deck for +5 mercans at each turn. Hitting 20 I knew my limit was about reached so we counted back down to the top. March back down with Squats.
Up the hill and around to the fountain for Dips and Step ups
Long way around through the neighborhood and back to the stadium where we flagged down Stu.
Stu showed us the snake snake stairs. In and out of rails up each row of steps.
Four COREners where we cusack the rucks around the track for LBCs, Freddies, E2K, and Flutters escalating.
One more trip through the stadium steps and back to the flag
As we have reached October the idea was floated once again about the future of Academy. I have kicked the goal posts to end of the year before any changes are made. A line of guest Qs for the rest of the month and a push to add any others.
Academy was started out of an overpopulation of AOs and to follow the original models in SC of High Intensity. While our goal is 3.5 - 4 miles a beat down it is not a requirement and there are plenty of options that still push the pax while getting your full hour in. We hope you, dear reader, find your way to visit us and test yourself in this prime location for beatdowns.
Prayers for Hot Sauces day
Prayers for Stu's upcoming rim to rim trip with his son.
Always a pleasure to lead and keep it gentle for Hot Sauces first time.
