Naked-Man Moleskin:

Like many of us I probably take things like Sports and Work too seriously.   Regarding the Eagles loss it was great to get out with a this great group of men and sweat the misery away and take some ‘all in fun’ jabs.

Regarding work I also had a recent surprise experience as I was impacted by some significant downsizing by my ex- company.  I came work one morning not concerned about my job and 4 hours later everything was changed for me and more than a thousand others there including at least one close friend.  A lesson I learned from that is that there are some things that seem immensely important to you and consume much of your time and attention that can literally be made swiftly and surprisingly  irrelevant to you in a matter of minutes (job metrics, company business targets, upcoming meetings.)   It was just a reminder to  me to make sure that I focus on the important elements of  my life that are constant and won’t change with an email – Friends, Family, Faith, health, etc..   I appreciate how F3 reinforces those values with each of us.
