Meatloaf Tribute

Preamble:

Last week one of Rock n Roll’s greats passed away … Meat Loaf.  Today we’ll pay tribute.

Warm-O-Rama:

We started off with a run over to the flagpole for IC SSH, weed pickers, imperial walkers and arm circles.

The Thang:

We headed over to FOD by way of the rock pile to grab a medium size coupon.  The thang for the day was 2 EMOM’s.  The first EMOM was 15 mercans, 15 American hammers and aquats until time.  1 minute of work and a 15 second rest for 10 rounds total.  We rocked out to some Meat Loaf tunes along the way.  I think Special K was the only other guy in the group that knew the songs.  After 10 rounds we ran to the outfield fence and back.  At this point we’d been rockin’, so it was now time to roll.  I pulled out the dice and we took turns rolling for exercises and counts.  After a bit of this, we moved on to the next EMOM.  Same deal as the first EMOM except this time the exercises were 15 curls, 10 front shoulder raises and flutter kicks until time.  Once complete, to the outfield fence and back again.  We finished up with some more dice rolling until it was time to return our rocks and head back to the flag.

COT:

Pinkey walked up with a ruck on his back to join us for the COT.  Great to see him out again and worked his way back from injury.

TNT brought by Lumbergh on the importance of reaching out to guys who have fallen away from posting.  We’re here to encourage each other and we can’t let a brother disappear quietly.
