Hills, Scorch Trials Fly By, and More Hills

Preamble:

It was bitter cold – in the teens with the wind – but 5 PAX showed up and put in good work! YHC took the Q as Stroller was heading over to the Scorch Trials to test his limits.

Warm-O-Rama:

Too cold, and this is Hoppy … let’s get running.

The Thang:

We ran over to Thompson hill and did just over 10 minutes of up and down the Thompson hill. After completing the 10 minutes we made a made dash over to DT Alpharetta and cheered on the HIMs participating in the Scorch Trials (we may have confused MT with our fly by haha). Then, as a last minute idea, I decided to switch up my plan of going back to the Thompson hill and audibled to the Northwinds hill. Up the never ending hill, over, and half way down before turning around and heading back to our starting point. A couple minutes behind schedule, but no one seemed to mind.

COT:

Prayers for those dealing with mental and physical illness, those having to deal with this weather outside, and the health and safety of our country.

One PAX had a fantastic idea for a kind gesture for some individuals enduring this bitter cold.

It is the thoughtless acts of men in F3 – to do good for others – that reminds me how good this group really is for me, other men around me, and our community. I’m so thankful to be a part of it, and humbled to be able to lead this great group of HIMs this morning.
