Down the Rabbit Hole

PAX (7): Dunshire, LifeLøck, Lightweight, Sirmixalot, Suarez, who, Zuckerberg
Preamble:
We arrived in the morning…as we typically do. Dunshire was the first to arrive, followed by Suarez, Who, Lightweight and his crew, followed by Sir-Mix-Alot. It was a balmy 34 F as 5:30 am quickly approached.
Warm-O-Rama:
We started off the Warm-o-Rama by mozying the little circle around the parking lot. Warm ups included:
-15 Side Straddle Hops
-15 Imperial Walkers
-10 Weed Pickers
-Sun Gods on your own
-Michael Phelps on your own
The Thang:
We then ran to the top of the hill where Dunshire picked a rabbit. The first Rabbit was Suarez. His objective was to go to four different stations and do as many Merkins as he could. By the time the Pax caught up to him he would move on to the next station announcing how many Merkins he completed. Once the rest of the Pax completed the number of reps they would move onto the next station and repeat.
The second rabbit was Zuckerberg. He did WWII situps, increasing his reps at each station as we strove to catch up.
The next rabbit was Life lock. He did a ridiculous amount of side straddle hops at each station.
Lastly Lightweight was chosen as the rabbit, he conducted Burpees at each station.
By the time we completed the Burpee run it was almost time.
We completed the workout around the flag with a round of Merry.
We did American Hammers followed by Leg Raises. I’ll let you guess who picked what.
COT:
We ended in the COT and SirMixAlot had the MOC. He shared about how his son felt more connected when he was in the woods. This was because we all came from the dirt and, as men, we like to get down to the gritty earth whenever we can. The same goes in life. We should continue “going after it” in the Gloom of the morning. Challenging each other to push on further, faster, and harder.
We prayed over Script Kiddie and Ace Ventura for healing, as well as for Dunshire’s son who has surgery on the 13th.
Naked-Man Moleskin:
Coffee was had at the end. Both Dunshire and SirMixAlot brought a thermos full, so we were all well caffeinated by the time we left for the day.
