1 is the loneliest number

Preamble:

YHC was unconvinced that he would not be alone in the gloom after a few HC turned to ash with the quickness of a Thanos fingersnap. The COVID factor is definitely taking a toll on the ranks the last few weeks.

Enter Suarez to make the gloom not so dim with a last minute HC the night before. YHC had planned on a running heavy beatdown but decided to pivot upon arrival to save that beatdown for a more opportune time.

The Thang:

I wanted to try out my new weighted vest and Suarez used my ruck. We got in a little less than 2.5 miles in the 45 minute time. Good conversations as I gave Suarez the tour of our usual pre-ruck route and he also saw the space in front of the courthouse that is a great BD spot.

COT:

YHC woke up too late to make a pot of coffee so we made a side excursion to Bojangles for some Java and then headed back to the pavilion for some good convo. We talked work, finances, and life for a bit. Thankful for the fellowship.
