Return to The Grindstone

Preamble:

4 PAX (Emeril, Snowman, Spit Valve, Inseam) attacked Grindstone early for pre-run activities while 11 total descended on Grindstone on a muggy August morning to kickstart their week and see the return of 5-way in action after a few weeks of dealing with weird getting old type injuries.  

Warm-O-Rama:

The Thang:

Medium Coupon on baseball field

Dora foul line to second scoreboard pole
-Overhead 75 – crab walk/1 burpee/run
-Squats 100 – bear crawl/2 burpee/karaoke
-Curls 150 – lunges/3 burpees/Bernie sanders

Indian run to first football field
Attempted simultaneous wave of merkin and wave of big boy as PAX gathered at midfield
Plank position wave of merkin start with 1 to 5 other side starts wave of big boys created a bit of confusion but in the end everyone rallied and got the reps done

Finished Merkin and Big Boy ladders to 10 alternating increasing and decreasing at opposite sidelines of football field starting at 6 and 10
3 burpees on way back

Finished with LBC ladder 1-20 increment 1 every 5 yards goal line to goal line bernie sanders until 50 yard line then normal run several PAX finished the LBC ladder YHC was not one of them :-). 

COT:

Good encouragement from Emeril about what type of man you want to be and Inseam chipping in some wisdom as well.  Big congrats to Swiper for organizing Darth Visor Memorial and for Inseam, Crab Cake and Snowman doing some heavy lifting on the planning and setup.

Prayers for Schneider granddaughter, Dumpster’s daughter and Inseam back to school while getting it done with F3 and accounting gig.

All in all YHC greatly enjoyed being back in action with an amazing group of HIMs accelerating together.  Love me some F3 fellas!  Let’s keep reaching those who don’t know they need it yet!
