Meet the COOPER

Preamble:

YHC has not been posted to Norseman for a while, so YHC signed up to Q (that’s one way to make sure YHC posted at this AO). Thankful for cooler temperature than normal this morning.

Warm-O-Rama:

After disclaimer, we moseyed to the St Francis parking lot (almost ran into a car, there were lot of cars in that parking lot early this morning – back to school). We circled up and did Windmills, Weed Picker, SSH and Imperial Walker.

The Thang:

We moseyed to the track, passed the stash of coupons (heard mumblechater to keep going 🙂 ) YHC should have asked some of the PAX to bring the headlamp. Once we got to the track, YHC explained about the COOPER (400 meter mosey, burpees, squat & merkins, up to 10 rounds).

• Round 1: 1 lap around the track, 10 burpees, squats & merkins
• Round 2: 1 lap 9 burpees, squats & merkins (Each round we reduced the rep by 1, up to 10 rounds).

YHC completed 8 rounds before called for time. Kudos to the PAX that were able to complete all 10 rounds.  We took the stairs instead of the other dark route to go back to flag 🙂 – thank you Shooter. YHC asked Callahan to lead the Mary, while YHC made sure all the PAX accounted for.

COT:

Pray for Johnson family who lost their father and husband, praised for Nachos’ friend for successful surgery (cancer removal).
