No Guts No Glory

AO: The Wreck

When: 12/16/2020

QIC: Sellout

PAX (2): Circus, Vanilla, Tubbs, Sellout, YaoMing and FNG now Tenderfoot. Mark Snoddy

Preamble:

We’ve had a bit of COVID quarantining affect our PAX. All seem to be testing negative and hopefully will be back soon and strong. Also this morning we were granted a bit of “Wreck Magic”  the rain and cold front that was passing gave us a one hour break between rain to get in our beat down!

Warm-O-Rama:

Introduced our newest FNG and then moseyed up to first parking lot. Proceeded to crank out 15 toy soldiers, arm swirls forward small and then large, 15 one legged stork stretches, Abe Vigoda sssloooww,  Side straddle hops.   Although I saw Circus running in place during most of the stretches! Extra points for trying to stay warm.

The Thang:

Mosey to the playground because we wanted to stay near hard shelter with rain approaching. Begin with my “Bridge over troubled water”   begin by hanging from pull up barsby extended arms. Perform one knee raise to chin (if possible) followed by 5 pull ups, then 2 chin raises and 4 pullups. Similiar to 11s .

Mosey up the hill to street and perform 10 burpees.

Mosey back to playground hard cover and benches. Lay on table and perform 30 Jane Fondas and 1 Freddy Mercury. Next 29 jaane Fondas and 2 Freddy Mercurys.  Just like 11s but working the core and the gluts. (we had to call an audible at about 20) groans and mutiny.

Mosey up hill to street and perform 15 slow merkins

Mosey back to shelter and tables. From plank position perform 30 hands to the wall/bench and down then 1 Monkey humper, next 29 hands to to the wall and 2 monkey humpers.  (Again called audible at about 20)

Next begin 30 step ups on benches to 1 merkin, 29 step ups to 2 merkins and so on again.  (again another audible at about 20 reps)

Another round of hanging from barbells and performing knee raises to pull ups 5 to 1 and so on.

Mosey back to the flag hitting 3 burpees at every lamp post.

Back in time to do a bit of merry. Diamonds, flutters, hammers and rollup stand ups.

COT:

We welcomed FNG, Mark Snoddy.  He regaled us with a tale of hawg hunting and almost got named “squealer” but as an Eagle Scout he ultimately is now known as Tenderfoot.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

Prayers for all this holiday season.
