YHC got the call to Q Thursday night. The PAX are getting geared up for race day and we neglected to catch the open spot on the Q-sheet. Today YHC tried to avoid legs as much as possible due to an upcoming mountain biking expedition along the Hooch. It wasn’t going to be 0.0 beatdown, but we were pretty close.
Warmup:
Mozy to the football field parking lot and get warmed up:
- 30 x Side Straddle Hops
- 15 x Cotton Pickers
- 10 x Windmills
The Thang:
Make our way to the playground to get some suffering in.
- We started with a Cindy – like The Murph’s sister : on your own…100 pull-ups / 200 merkins / 300 squats performed in sets of 10 / 20 /30 (no runs before and after)
- Goat made a guest appearance during the later rounds
- Next up was what we could call the Flyin’ Dip: partner up where Partner A does 5 x chest flies using two swings, Partner B does dips until Partner A finishes flies, and then flip flop; 5 rounds total
- Then it was time to add in some core while the PAX keep brutalizing their arms: Partner A gets in plank and Partner B performs Makhtar N’Diayes until one of them cries mercy, and then flip flop; about 2 rounds
Mozy back to the flag for Mary
- Big boys
- Plank with leg lifts
- Superman
- Diamond merkins (why not make our triceps hurt more….thanks Jackelope)
- And maybe some other stuff
