8 Pax braved the cold this morning in Alpharetta. 10 degrees…YHC was in Buffalo for Christmas and I thought that I left that cold behind. Well pulling up the AO I see Boomer has decided to join us at the Rubicon and Cookie was so excited to see him that he gave him a big hug. I am not sure if he was welcoming the new year or was still excited about the Georgia game.
At 10 degrees there is no time for standing around.
Mosey over to the upper parking lot. Warm Up – SSH, Squats, and Merk Jacks ( in the down position of a merkin do a plank jack)
Mosey to the hill by the field of dreams. 11’s with Burpees and Squats.
Mosey to the Parking Lot by the start of the Disc Golf course. 18’s Squats and Merk Jacks. The Pax stuck together and did all exercises in cadence.
Quick mosey back to the flag for the Circle of Trust. Prayers for Boomers friend as he battles the flu with stage 4 cancer. Prayers for the homeless in the cold.
Moleskin: What kind of Men wakes up at 5:00 to go meet other guys and work out in 10 degree weather? F3 men. How easy is it to hit snooze and skip a workout? I know I wanted to this morning. But I also knew that I had guys that were depending on me this morning. As 2018 gets into full gear I challenge all of the men of F3 to commit to something greater than yourself. As the great Jeff Foxworthy says “life is best when you aren’t the most thing in it”
