Spider Web Alley

Preamble:

My lucky day seeing that Q sheet open the day before a scheduled Beatdown.  It seemed like a good time to explore some often ignored portions of the Crown Jewel of the Alpharetta Park system.

The Thang:

We moseyed on the dark scary path around the back of the park system.  Little did we anticipate there was a maze of large August spider webs the entire way with some big resident spiders.  Cookie thought it was fun looking back to see if anyone (especially without a handlamp) would catch a web sandwich.

After several burpee for the six stops we made it to the bottom of Brokeback Mountain on Wills Rd.  We proceeded with some backward running, Lunges and side Lunges to the top where we completed several rounds of Mary.  Back down the hill to the bottom.  Next up was a give it a tempo plus effort back to the top of the hill.  Gasping for air, we all did several more rounds o Mary.  Back down the Hill and on to the Playground / Wall combo.

Partner A did 10 Pull ups while Partner B was in BTTW position.  Switch and then proceed down the latter with 8, 6, 4 and 2 pullups.

Mosey around to the tennis courts that were so rudely locked by the Park Staff.  I’m assuming it was a mistake as they know F3 is entitled to free reign of all park resources in the gloom.  We modified however and completed the mission.

Four corners with 20 count Regular Squats, Princess Squats, Sumo Squats and Copperhead Squats.  Bear Crawl on the two shorter sides.

Back to the flag and that was time.
